Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Teknisi Operasional Laundry (Pemeliharaan Mesin & Kebersihan) to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to ensuring our laundry facilities run smoothly, maintaining both the mechanical performance of laundry equipment and the overall cleanliness of the work environment. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem‑solver who thrives in a mobile, field‑oriented setting, providing timely technical support across multiple locations.
The position offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 17:00, with opportunities for professional growth within a fast‑growing service company.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on washing machines, dryers, ironers, and related laundry equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs efficiently on‑site.
- Conduct regular inspections of wiring, motors, belts, and control panels, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records for spare parts.
- Coordinate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting daily laundry operations.
- Provide on‑the‑spot training and guidance to junior staff on proper equipment handling and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the laundry floor, workstations, and equipment, adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls, traveling to client sites or satellite facilities as required.
- Collaborate with vendors for warranty claims, part replacements, and technical upgrades.
- Promote a culture of safety by identifying hazards, recommending corrective actions, and following proper lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a laundry technician or in a similar mechanical/electrical maintenance role.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components of commercial laundry machines.
- Ability to work independently in the field as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Honesty, discipline, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Possession of a personal motor vehicle and a valid SIM C (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing while performing technical tasks.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
