Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Staf Dapur Penunjang Operasional to join our fast‑paced kitchen team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting daily food preparation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations for a bustling restaurant that serves both local and regional customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and possess the flexibility to work six days a week, including weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist senior cooks and chefs with mise en place, ingredient portioning, and timely food service.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and conduct basic inventory checks to prevent shortages.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols, including regular cleaning of workstations, utensils, and storage areas.
  • Support waste reduction initiatives by properly labeling leftovers, rotating stock, and following portion control guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with front‑of‑house staff to coordinate order timing and special dietary requests.
  • Participate in daily briefings, reporting any equipment issues, supply concerns, or staffing needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrating honesty, diligence, and accountability in every task.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of proven experience as a cook or kitchen crew member in a commercial food‑service setting.
  • All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Willingness to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00, including Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.
  • Residency within the Radio Dalam, Petogogan area or nearby neighborhoods for convenient commuting.
  • Proficiency in operating standard kitchen equipment and basic knife skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to follow instructions, collaborate with teammates, and handle high‑pressure situations calmly.
  • Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and a clean, organized work environment.
