This role is essential to our photo‑printing line, ensuring that every order meets the highest standards of color accuracy, sharpness, and on‑time delivery. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor large‑format photo printers, ink‑jet machines, and finishing equipment throughout the production shift.
- Prepare print jobs by loading digital files, verifying file resolution, and setting appropriate color profiles using Adobe Photoshop and RIP software.
- Conduct pre‑press checks, including proofing, color calibration, and paper stock verification.
- Perform continuous quality inspections at each production stage, checking for banding, color drift, registration errors, and surface defects.
- Document any deviations from quality standards and collaborate with the senior supervisor to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate production logs, inventory records for inks, papers, and consumables, and report usage to the materials manager.
- Assist in routine machine cleaning, routine maintenance, and minor troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Support the packaging team by ensuring finished prints are trimmed, mounted, and packaged according to client specifications.
- Participate in daily briefings, safety drills, and continuous‑improvement meetings to uphold workplace safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑26 years (the ideal candidate is between 18 and 23 years).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Residency: Must be based in Surabaya or willing to relocate.
- No ongoing higher‑education commitments (must not be currently enrolled in university).
- Basic proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and an understanding of file preparation for print.
- Strong attention to detail, good visual acuity, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with production, design, and logistics teams.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 15 kg).
