Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Les Privat Bahasa Mandarin to join our vibrant language learning team in Bandar Lampung. This full‑time position involves delivering one‑on‑one and small‑group Mandarin lessons to children and young adults, fostering both linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation. The ideal candidate is a passionate educator with a solid academic background, a caring attitude toward students, and the flexibility to travel to various tutoring locations within the city.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Mandarin curriculum tailored to each learner’s age, proficiency level, and learning style.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and interactive activities that promote speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, oral examinations, and regular feedback sessions, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
- Maintain a disciplined yet supportive classroom environment, encouraging curiosity and confidence in language use.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance, goals, and any areas requiring additional support.
- Stay updated on the latest Mandarin teaching methodologies, digital tools, and cultural resources to enhance lesson effectiveness.
- Manage scheduling, attendance records, and tuition invoicing in coordination with the administrative team.
- Participate in occasional workshops, staff meetings, and community events to promote the school’s language programs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Linguistics, Asian Studies, or a related field; final‑year university students are also considered.
- At least 1 year of proven experience teaching Mandarin, preferably in a private or tutoring setting.
- Strong passion for teaching and a genuine love for working with children and adolescents.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: patient, disciplined, creative, and highly responsible.
- Maximum age of 35 years to ensure energetic engagement with younger learners.
- Reside in Bandar Lampung and possess a reliable personal vehicle for commuting to student homes or learning centers.
- Fluent in Mandarin (both spoken and written) and proficient in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to develop customized teaching resources and integrate technology such as online platforms, language apps, and multimedia.
