We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Motorist to join our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) distribution team in Bandung Selatan (Majalaya). As a Sales Motorist, you will be the face of the company on the road, delivering products directly to retail outlets, building lasting relationships, and driving revenue growth for our extensive portfolio of consumer brands.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily sales visits to assigned stores and customers, following a pre‑planned route to maximize coverage and efficiency.
- Introduce and demonstrate product features, benefits, and promotional offers to retail staff, ensuring they are well‑informed and motivated to stock our items.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with shop owners and key decision‑makers, acting as a trusted advisor for their inventory needs.
- Manage on‑board inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and replenish product levels to prevent out‑of‑stock situations.
- Accurately record sales transactions, update order logs, and submit daily sales reports using the company’s mobile reporting system.
- Communicate upcoming promotions, new product launches, and merchandising guidelines to retailers, ensuring brand visibility complies with corporate standards.
- Arrange and set up product displays, point‑of‑sale materials, and promotional signage to enhance shelf appeal and drive impulse purchases.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, relaying insights to the sales manager for strategic adjustments.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets while adhering to company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards.
- Participate in periodic training sessions and team meetings to stay current on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- No upper age limit; candidates of all ages are welcome.
- Open to all genders.
- Zero to two years of experience in direct sales, route sales, or FMCG distribution (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; own motorbike or willingness to use company‑provided vehicle.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse retail partners.
- High level of self‑motivation, time‑management, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Adaptability to changing routes, product assortments, and market conditions.
- Basic numeracy and administrative abilities for accurate sales entry and daily reporting.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of goods and spend extended periods on the road.
