Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient service to all customers at the point of sale, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with a smile.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and electronic transactions, ensuring that each sale is recorded correctly in the system.
- Calculate and verify daily revenue totals, reconciling cash drawer balances at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Record all outgoing expenses, including vendor payments, petty cash disbursements, and operational costs, using the company’s accounting software.
- Prepare comprehensive daily financial reports that detail sales, cash flow, and expense summaries for management review.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to support month‑end closing activities, such as bank reconciliations and audit preparation.
- Maintain an organized and secure cash handling area, adhering to internal controls and fraud‑prevention policies.
- Assist in inventory checks and stock‑taking processes, linking sales data with inventory levels.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new POS features, financial regulations, and customer service best practices.
- Provide occasional support for special promotional events, ensuring smooth transaction flow and accurate promotional pricing.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female candidates are preferred to align with the current team composition.
- Age: No upper age limit; we value experience and reliability over age.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in cashier operations or a similar financial support role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, basic accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, high integrity, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 06:00 – 16:00.
