Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and reliable Retail Sales Cashier with a strong background in customer service to join our fast‑moving retail environment. The position offers a stable schedule from Monday to Saturday, with the possibility of double‑shift work to meet peak business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Process all customer purchases accurately using our point‑of‑sale (POS) system, ensuring correct pricing, discounts, and promotions are applied.
  • Provide friendly, attentive service that encourages repeat business and positive word‑of‑mouth.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular sanitizing of surfaces, floor sweeping, and waste disposal.
  • Assist in restocking shelves and preparing merchandise displays during slower periods to keep the sales floor attractive.
  • Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments, reconcile daily cash drawers, and report any discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to deliver items to customers when required, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Participate in double‑shift schedules (morning and evening) during high‑traffic seasons, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
  • Uphold store policies on security, loss prevention, and inventory control, reporting any suspicious activity.
  • Contribute to a team‑oriented atmosphere by supporting colleagues, sharing best practices, and maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of proven experience in a cashier or retail customer‑service role.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and comfort handling cash transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to engage courteously with diverse customers.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform quick clean‑up tasks.
  • Ability to work both morning and evening shifts, including weekends.
  • High level of integrity, discipline, and a “steel‑mind” attitude toward responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with POS software and basic computer literacy.
