Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader – Strategic Operations & Project Execution to join our growing insurance organization. This pivotal role will drive the development and execution of student insurance programs, foster strategic partnerships with educational institutions and community stakeholders, and lead a high‑performing team to achieve ambitious growth targets. The ideal candidate combines strong business development acumen with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating value in the B2B insurance market.
Responsibilities
- Identify and approach schools, government agencies, villages, markets, and UMKM (micro‑, small‑ and medium‑enterprises) to propose collaborative student‑card insurance programs.
- Design, pilot, and roll out insurance solutions tailored to the needs of students and their families, ensuring regulatory compliance and product attractiveness.
- Conduct thorough market surveys and target analyses to prioritize high‑potential partners and refine outreach strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector entities, acting as the primary liaison during contract negotiation and implementation phases.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, including performance metrics, risk assessments, and supporting documentation for senior management review.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of business partners and internal team members, fostering a collaborative culture focused on results.
- Develop and nurture a network of strategic partners across the region, leveraging existing contacts in schools, government bodies, community groups, and local markets to expand the company’s footprint.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging regulatory changes to adjust strategies proactively.
- Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives with underwriting, claims, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior staff, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a higher degree is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in the insurance sector, preferably in B2B sales or partnership development.
- Fresh graduates with strong motivation are also welcome to apply.
- Valid driver’s license (SIM) and personal vehicle for field visits.
- Extensive network of contacts within schools, government agencies, community organizations, markets, and UMKM.
- Demonstrated ability to grow a business and lead a team to meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
