Responsibilities
- Greet and assist every customer with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and payment transactions accurately according to the bank’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Conduct account verification and cash handling checks, maintaining strict compliance with internal controls and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate banking products or services, contributing to cross‑selling initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller station, safeguarding cash drawers and confidential information at all times.
- Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, documenting any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the branch to resolve complex inquiries and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to the branch’s operating hours (Monday – Sunday, 08:45 – 20:00) and be prepared to work flexible schedules as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 29 years or younger.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a customer‑service or banking environment.
- Both male and female candidates are welcome; gender is not a restriction.
- Polished appearance—well‑groomed, tidy, and presentable.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy, diligence, honesty, and discipline.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality service.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in Medan.
- Key skills: financial transaction handling, effective communication, and strong service ethics.
