Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Senior Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex mechanical, electrical, and civil projects within the hospitality and commercial building sectors. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between engineering teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the day‑to‑day activities of multidisciplinary engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and civil disciplines.
- Develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and proactively address any deviations or bottlenecks.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and as‑built documentation to guarantee compliance with local codes and client requirements.
- Facilitate regular site inspections and safety audits, ensuring all work adheres to occupational health and safety regulations.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders, external contractors, suppliers, and hotel management to align expectations and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and produce financial reports for senior management.
- Identify risk factors early, propose mitigation strategies, and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing material submittals, approving purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of critical components.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 40 years.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in building or hotel engineering, with a strong grasp of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry/civil work.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a courteous and professional demeanor.
- High level of discipline, strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude toward problem solving.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and basic computer skills (MS Office).
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime as project demands dictate.
