Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Engineer QA/QC – Pengendalian & Jaminan Mutu to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all construction and operational activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and multidisciplinary engineers to embed robust quality management practices across oil and gas, marine construction, and plant operation projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and non‑conformance assessments to verify adherence to design specifications and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure their QA/QC procedures are compatible with project standards.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans, within the Document Management System (DMS).
- Utilize Quality Management Tools such as Total Quality Management (TQM), Quality Control Circles (QCC), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Balanced Scorecard to drive performance improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and develop actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of quality expectations among project personnel.
- Collaborate with the engineering and procurement teams to review material submittals, shop drawings, and technical specifications for compliance.
- Monitor key quality metrics and generate regular performance reports for senior management.
- Support the hand‑over process by ensuring all quality records are complete, accurate, and readily accessible.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline).
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in construction QA/QC, preferably within the oil & gas, marine construction, or plant operation sectors.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and practical implementation experience.
- Proficiency with quality tools such as TQM, QCC, SPC, and Balanced Scorecard.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and navigate a Document Management System effectively.
- Excellent teamwork and organizational skills; capable of leading small audit teams.
- Fluent written and spoken English is a distinct advantage.
- Technical competency in root cause analysis and production planning.

- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
