Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Technician (ME) to join our dynamic engineering team. This full‑time position is based at our modern manufacturing facility and offers a stable Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule from 08:00 to 17:00. The successful candidate will support the design, assembly, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems while providing essential help‑desk assistance to internal teams. Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the assembly, installation, and calibration of mechanical components, ensuring all work adheres to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and troubleshoot mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
- Document all maintenance activities, test results, and corrective actions in the company’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for traceability and continuous improvement.
- Provide first‑level technical support through the help‑desk, responding to internal requests for mechanical guidance, part replacements, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including production, quality assurance, and safety—to ensure that all mechanical processes meet regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks.
- Participate in safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective measures to maintain a safe workplace.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, work orders, and bill of materials (BOM) updates for engineering projects.
- Contribute ideas for process optimization, cost reduction, and equipment upgrades during team meetings and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical technology is a plus.
