Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Specialist – Clinical Rehabilitation to join our multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation team. This full‑time position is based at our modern outpatient clinic, where we provide evidence‑based therapy to children with developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal challenges. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each child’s occupational therapy needs, including sensory processing, fine motor, and daily living skills.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the child’s goals, family expectations, and interdisciplinary recommendations.
- Implement therapeutic interventions using play‑based techniques, adaptive equipment, and functional activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress in electronic health records, adjusting programs as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home‑program exercises, positioning strategies, and environmental modifications.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to professional ethics, clinical standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in weekly case conferences, sharing insights and collaborating on complex cases.
- Stay current with emerging research and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
- Provide weekend coverage on a rotating schedule to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist in the development of community outreach programs and school‑based therapy initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: D3 or D4 in Occupational Therapy.
- Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) or in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong sense of discipline, reliability, and proactive attitude.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as part of the regular schedule.
- Passion for working with children, especially those with developmental and neurological conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with families and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in documenting clinical notes and generating progress reports.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence‑based practice.
