Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Cashier Professional with Customer Service Experience to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is central to delivering a seamless guest experience in our hotel and restaurant operations, ensuring accurate cash handling, swift transactions, and a friendly, hospitality‑focused attitude. Ideal candidates will bring at least one year of relevant experience, a minimum of a D3/D4 level education, and a strong desire to grow within the service industry.
Responsibilities
- Process guest payments quickly and accurately using point‑of‑sale (POS) and cash register systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic transactions while maintaining strict adherence to company cash‑handling policies.
- Reconcile daily sales reports, prepare cash deposits, and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional front‑line customer service, greeting guests warmly, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns with a hospitality mindset.
- Maintain an organized and clean cashier station, ensuring all supplies (receipts, bags, promotional material) are stocked.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen, waitstaff, and management to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and guests receive accurate bills.
- Support inventory control by monitoring and reporting low stock of consumables such as napkins, utensils, and beverage supplies.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including weekend and holiday rotations, and be prepared to work flexible hours as required.
- Assist in training new team members on POS operations, customer service standards, and cash handling procedures.
- Uphold company policies on hygiene, safety, and professional appearance at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 qualification; positions may also consider candidates with SMA/SMK for specific entry‑level roles.
- Experience: At least 1–2 years in a similar cashier or front‑desk role within a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment. Fresh graduates may be considered for Daily Worker positions.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: No strict age limitation; candidates of any age meeting the qualification criteria are welcome.
- Skills: Proficient with cash register systems, basic accounting, and POS software; strong numerical aptitude.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, a service‑oriented mindset, ability to work independently and as part of a team, disciplined, honest, and highly responsible.
- Availability: Willingness to work shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays, with regular hours Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
