Introduction
We are seeking a proactive Manajer Produksi Kantor (Scrap) to lead our scrap management operations in the Kab. Grobogan region. This full‑time position reports directly to the Plant Manager and plays a crucial role in optimizing the handling, processing, and disposition of scrap material generated by our manufacturing lines. The ideal candidate will combine solid technical knowledge of production processes with strong organizational and communication skills to ensure that scrap is managed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily scrap collection, segregation, and processing activities across all production shifts.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for scrap handling to minimize waste and maximize material recovery.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as scrap rate, recovery value, and turnaround time, and present regular reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with production engineers, quality control, and logistics teams to identify root causes of excess scrap and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of scrap material using Microsoft Office tools and any enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in use.
- Train and mentor junior staff on proper scrap handling techniques, emphasizing accuracy, safety, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Coordinate with external recycling vendors and negotiate contracts to secure the best market rates for recovered material.
- Prepare weekly and monthly work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for Monday‑Saturday operations (08:00‑17:00).
- Act as the primary point of contact for any scrap‑related queries from internal departments and external authorities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/S1 (all majors) – preferably with a background in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of production processes and scrap material management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills; able to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and documentation.
- Willingness to relocate and be based in Kab. Grobogan for the duration of employment.
- Age limit: up to 35 years old (flexible based on experience).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in production management, waste handling, or a similar role is preferred, though fresh graduates with strong analytical abilities are encouraged to apply.
