Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Retail Specifier (RS) to join our dynamic team in the Garut area. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our product portfolio—particularly high‑performance paint solutions—and the retail partners who bring these products to end‑consumers. The successful candidate will combine strong sales project experience with excellent negotiation skills, ensuring that our retail network is well‑equipped, well‑informed, and motivated to achieve ambitious market share targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with retail outlets, distributors, and key decision‑makers in the Garut region.
  • Conduct on‑site assessments to determine product specifications that meet customer needs and project requirements.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, quotations, and technical data sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure profitable contracts while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to convey market feedback and emerging trends.
  • Track sales performance, analyze data, and generate weekly reports that highlight opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and product demonstrations to retail staff, enhancing their ability to upsell and cross‑sell.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all transactions, contracts, and communications in the company CRM system.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, local business events, and community outreach programs in Garut.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: maximum 35 years.
  • Gender: open to all genders.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in project‑based sales, preferably within the paint or coatings industry.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.
  • Excellent personal grooming and professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
  • Own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (SIM) for travel throughout the Garut area.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
