Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new borrower prospects by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, community events, and referrals to enroll them in Amartha’s capital‑loan programs.
- Provide ongoing economic mentorship to household members, offering guidance on budgeting, savings, and responsible credit use.
- Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring each submission complies with Amartha’s internal policies, risk criteria, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed assessment reports, including credit scoring, cash‑flow analysis, and collateral evaluation, for review by the underwriting team.
- Execute timely collection activities, negotiate repayment plans, and maintain accurate records of all interactions with borrowers.
- Collaborate with the regional operations team to monitor loan performance, flag early warning signs, and propose corrective actions.
- Organize and lead community training sessions on financial literacy, digital payment tools, and entrepreneurship basics.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while representing Amartha in the field, building trust and a positive brand image.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable).
- All genders are welcome; female candidates are highly preferred.
- Own reliable motorized transportation for daily field visits.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, meticulousness, strong communication skills, resilience, and disciplined work habits.
- Willingness to work on‑site every day, including occasional travel to remote villages.
- No prior experience required, though experience in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus.
- Basic digital literacy and ability to use mobile applications for data collection and reporting.
