Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Account Officer (Collection) to join our dynamic team in Pekalongan, Jawa Tengah. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely recovery of outstanding receivables (A/R Overdue) and supporting the financial health of our multifinance operations. The successful candidate will work six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, with core hours of 08:00 – 16:00, and will be placed at a location that aligns with the candidate’s domicile.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the collection process for accounts overdue between 61 and 120 days, ensuring compliance with internal timelines and regulatory standards.
- Initiate contact with delinquent borrowers via phone, email, and in‑person visits to negotiate repayment plans and resolve disputes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports, highlighting trends, risk exposure, and recovery performance.
- Collaborate closely with the credit underwriting team to verify the validity of outstanding balances and to update credit files accordingly.
- Conduct field visits when necessary to assess borrower’s repayment capacity and to recover assets secured against the loan.
- Coordinate with legal counsel for escalated cases that may require litigation or formal debt recovery actions.
- Provide feedback to product and risk management departments to improve credit policies and mitigate future delinquencies.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity by accurately entering all collection activities into the company’s ERP system.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 in any discipline is preferred.
- Age limit: maximum 30 years.
- Gender: Male.
- At least 1 year of experience in credit collection, accounts receivable, or a related financial role (new graduates with strong internships are also welcome).
- Solid understanding of multifinance business processes and a strong orientation toward achieving collection targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High integrity, perseverance, meticulous attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proficiency in credit monitoring, loan processing, debt recovery procedures, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
