Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Account Officer to join our team in the scenic district of Tawangmangu. This role is pivotal in supporting the growth of our credit portfolio by building strong relationships with local businesses and individual borrowers. The successful candidate will act as the front‑line liaison between our financial institution and the community, ensuring that credit products are marketed effectively, applications are processed accurately, and customer satisfaction remains high.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential borrowers within the assigned geographic area, focusing on micro‑enterprises, SMEs, and individual consumers.
- Conduct thorough credit analyses, including financial statement review, cash‑flow assessment, and risk evaluation, to determine loan eligibility.
- Prepare and present loan proposals to the credit approval committee, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of loan applications, tracking progress from initial contact through disbursement and post‑loan monitoring.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by promoting the bank’s credit products and cross‑selling ancillary services such as insurance and investment solutions.
- Provide ongoing support to borrowers, addressing inquiries, negotiating repayment terms, and facilitating timely loan repayments.
- Develop and nurture relationships with local business associations, community leaders, and government agencies to enhance brand visibility.
- Utilize a personal vehicle and a valid SIM C to conduct field visits, client meetings, and market surveys across the Tawangmangu area.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics, market insights, and potential risk factors.
- Participate in continuous learning programs, staying updated on banking regulations, credit policy changes, and emerging market trends.
Requirements
- Male or female candidates, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum educational qualification: D3/S1 in any discipline; preference given to graduates of Economics, Management, or Banking.
- At least one year of experience as an Account Officer or Credit Marketing Officer; fresh graduates with strong internships will also be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze credit data, assess risk, and make sound recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building client trust.
- Target‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in the field.
- Valid SIM C driving license and ownership of a reliable personal vehicle.
- Deep familiarity with the local market and the ability to navigate the Tawangmangu region efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in standard office software.
