Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean all dishes, workstations, cooking utensils, and storage areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Wash, peel, slice, and pre‑process a wide variety of ingredients according to recipe specifications.
- Store raw and prepared items properly, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and temperature control.
- Assist the kitchen supervisor in monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages or excesses.
- Follow the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sanitation, equipment handling, and waste management.
- Support fellow kitchen staff during peak service periods by replenishing stations and delivering ingredients promptly.
- Participate in daily pre‑service checks, including equipment inspection and verification of ingredient freshness.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to the “first‑in, first‑out” (FIFO) system.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the kitchen manager immediately.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or catering operation.
- All genders are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in operating standard kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, and commercial dishwashers.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, local regulations).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 kg, and perform repetitive motions safely.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward continuous learning.
