Responsibilities
- Assist senior nurses and midwives in delivering high‑quality patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound dressing, and basic medication administration.
- Prepare examination rooms, surgical trays, and delivery suites, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
- Support obstetric procedures by helping with patient positioning, maintaining a sterile field, and providing emotional reassurance to expectant mothers.
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic medical records and report any changes in condition to supervising staff promptly.
- Educate patients and families on post‑procedure care, nutrition, hygiene, and basic health‑promotion practices.
- Participate in routine ward rounds, assisting with patient transfers, ambulation, and basic physiotherapy exercises.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies, restock consumables, and notify management of low stock levels.
- Adhere strictly to infection‑control protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, pharmacists, and laboratory staff, to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Engage in continuous learning by attending in‑house training sessions, workshops, and seminars related to nursing and midwifery practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent, preferably a health‑focused vocational diploma (SMK Kesehatan).
- Age: No upper limit; candidates of any age are welcome.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Work experience: Fresh graduates are accepted; 0–1 year of relevant experience is acceptable.
- Key skills: Basic patient care techniques, effective communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor.
- Personal qualities: Honesty, reliability, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
