Responsibilities
- Handle cash and electronic transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate order records.
- Prepare a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso‑based drinks, specialty coffees, teas, and blended smoothies, following BP Harapan Indah’s recipes and quality standards.
- Assemble and serve food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and light snacks, ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate tables.
- Deliver orders to customers’ tables with a friendly, attentive demeanor, addressing any special requests or modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular wiping of equipment, counters, and seating zones.
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular stock checks (stock opname), record inventory levels, and communicate replenishment needs to the manager.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer reconciliation, equipment shutdown, and end‑of‑day reporting.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth service flow during peak periods and special events.
- Continuously learn and apply new coffee‑making techniques, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 26 years old or younger; fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Residency: Preference for candidates living near the shop or willing to commute.
- Strong work ethic: proactive, quick‑thinking, and highly dedicated.
- Personal qualities: honesty, politeness, courteous behavior, and a well‑groomed appearance.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts (opening, middle, closing), weekends, public holidays, and occasional special events.
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
- Essential skills: operation of coffee grinders, espresso machines, steam wands, and mixing equipment; excellent multitasking; clear communication with customers and teammates.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and ability to speak politely in front of guests.
