Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver curriculum‑aligned lesson plans for groups of 3‑6 students in a home‑based setting.
- Assess individual student needs, identify learning gaps, and tailor instructional strategies to improve academic performance.
- Maintain a disciplined yet friendly classroom atmosphere, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and collaborative problem‑solving.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents, including progress reports and recommendations for further study.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and overall student engagement, ensuring compliance with the agreed schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Utilize a variety of teaching aids, digital resources, and interactive activities to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Participate in continuous professional development workshops and share best practices with fellow tutors.
- Coordinate with the administrative team to manage scheduling, billing, and any required documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Education or a related field; a bachelor’s degree in Education is preferred.
- Residency in Kabupaten Jepara or nearby areas to ensure reliable travel to student homes.
- Demonstrated teaching ability, with a focus on group instruction and personalized support.
- Strong interpersonal skills: patient, disciplined, and responsible.
- Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to manage time effectively, adhering to the set work hours (08:00‑17:00, Monday‑Saturday).
- Basic proficiency with educational technology and digital learning platforms.
