Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista – Penyaji Minuman Kopi Profesional to join our vibrant coffee‑house team. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who loves the art of coffee brewing, enjoys interacting with customers, and thrives in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment. As a key member of our front‑of‑house staff, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality espresso‑based beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring that each guest leaves with a memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Operate coffee equipment safely, including grinders, espresso machines, steam wands, and filtration systems, performing routine cleaning and calibration.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately, offering recommendations, and answering questions about coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work station, adhering to food safety regulations and internal sanitation protocols.
- Manage inventory levels of beans, milk, syrups, and consumables, notifying management of re‑stock needs and assisting with daily deliveries.
- Handle cash and electronic payments efficiently, ensuring accurate transaction processing and proper cash‑drawer balancing at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with team members to support peak‑hour service, fostering a cooperative and upbeat workplace culture.
- Continuously develop barista skills through training sessions, coffee cupping events, and staying informed about emerging industry trends.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as specified by the employer).
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- At least 1 year of professional experience working as a barista in a café or similar environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with flexibility for occasional weekend events.
- Excellent time‑management, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
