Introduction
PT Sinar Rokok Sejahtera is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Team Leader – Produksi Rokok to join its fast‑growing manufacturing operations in Central Java. The successful candidate will be based in one of three strategic locations—Purwokerto, Pemalang, or Cilacap—and will play a pivotal role in steering production teams to meet daily output targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with at least one year of supervisory experience in the tobacco sector to demonstrate leadership, improve process efficiency, and contribute to the company’s market expansion.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across assigned shifts, ensuring that all work orders are completed on schedule.
- Lead a team of operators, SPG (sales promotion girls) and auxiliary staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output volume, defect rate, and equipment downtime, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Enforce compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), occupational health and safety regulations, and internal quality‑assurance protocols.
- Maintain accurate production logs, generate shift reports, and communicate results to plant management.
- Collaborate with the logistics and inventory departments to guarantee the timely availability of raw materials and the proper handling of finished goods.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimization, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to company policies regarding punctuality, dress code, and equipment usage.
- Utilize a personal laptop and company‑provided vehicle to perform site visits, attend meetings, and submit electronic reports.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, aged between 21 and 35 years.
- At least 1 year of experience supervising production or handling SPG in the tobacco industry (preferred).
- Physically fit with proportional height and weight, capable of standing for long periods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Strong organizational abilities, target‑driven mindset, and proven problem‑solving aptitude.
- Willingness to start work on 26 April and to be fully available for the required shift pattern.
- Own a reliable laptop and personal vehicle for work‑related travel.
- Flexibility to work Tuesday through Sunday, from 07:00 am to 04:00 pm.
