Introduction
We are seeking a proactive External Relations & Security Officer to join our dynamic team at a leading manufacturing facility located in Gunung Putri, Bogor. This pivotal role bridges the gap between internal security operations and external stakeholder engagement, ensuring a safe, compliant, and community‑focused environment. The successful candidate will play a critical part in safeguarding our plant assets while fostering positive relationships with government agencies, local communities, vendors, and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily security operations across the entire plant, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and manage access control systems, including badge issuance, visitor registration, and perimeter surveillance.
- Maintain comprehensive security documentation, incident logs, and external‑relations records, providing timely reports to senior management.
- Investigate, document, and report security incidents, conducting root‑cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team to integrate security considerations into community outreach programs.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with local government officials, law‑enforcement agencies, and community leaders to promote a safe operating environment.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure compliance with security protocols and contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety drills, and emergency response simulations to maintain high readiness levels.
- Provide training and awareness sessions for employees on security best practices, visitor handling, and crisis communication.
- Support cross‑functional projects that require security insight, such as facility expansions, new technology deployments, and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3/D4) in a relevant field; Bachelor’s degree (S1) preferred, any discipline accepted.
- At least 1 year of experience in security operations, external relations, or a related field; fresh graduates with strong academic records are also encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or manufacturing environments is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English; ability to negotiate and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, interpret data, and make evidence‑based decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to be based full‑time in Gunung Putri, Bogor, with a standard work schedule of Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
