Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages, including espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty creations, following standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee equipment, performing routine cleaning and minor troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately, offering product recommendations, and providing information about coffee origins, brewing methods, and seasonal menu items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, adhering to health and safety regulations, and completing end‑of‑shift cleaning duties.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and ancillary supplies, notifying management of low stock and assisting with weekly ordering processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours, supporting colleagues as needed and contributing to a positive team culture.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately reconcile daily sales reports.
- Participate in ongoing training programs, staying current with emerging coffee trends, new brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Open to all candidates; no maximum age limit.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- Residence: Must be domiciled in Sidoarjo or willing to relocate.
- Experience: Prior barista experience is a strong advantage, though fresh graduates with a genuine passion for coffee are encouraged to apply.
- Core skills: Proficiency in coffee preparation, knowledge of espresso extraction, milk frothing techniques, and basic equipment maintenance.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a friendly, customer‑oriented attitude.
- Availability: Full‑time schedule, Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
