Introduction
Amartha, a leading micro‑finance fintech platform in Indonesia, is expanding its outreach in the Medan region and surrounding areas. We are looking for a proactive Business Partner – Area Medan dan Sekitarnya to join our dynamic field team. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between Amartha and local women entrepreneurs (referred to as “ibu mitra”), helping them access capital, understand our product suite, and achieve sustainable growth. This role is crucial for driving profitability, supporting community development, and reinforcing Amartha’s long‑term vision of inclusive financial services.
Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and recruit eligible ibu mitra across Medan and nearby districts.
- Conduct on‑site product presentations and educational workshops to socialize Amartha’s loan products and financial services.
- Perform thorough eligibility surveys, collect required documentation, and assess creditworthiness in line with company policies.
- Assist partners throughout the loan disbursement process, ensuring timely fund release and clear communication of terms.
- Monitor repayment schedules, follow up on overdue payments, and provide guidance to partners to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Maintain accurate field reports, update the CRM system, and provide weekly performance summaries to the regional manager.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor outreach strategies to local market conditions.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory, often on a personal motorcycle, to meet partners at their homes or community centers.
- Promote Amartha’s brand values, uphold ethical standards, and act as an ambassador for responsible lending.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with up to a S1 degree are preferred.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- Possession of a personal motorcycle and valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work in the field and be deployed to any location within the designated region as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with diverse community members.
- Adaptability to changing business needs and fast‑paced environments.
- Ethical decision‑making and analytical abilities to evaluate partner suitability.
