Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential borrowers, guiding them through Amartha’s loan application process and encouraging participation in our micro‑finance programs.
- Provide continuous economic counseling and support to existing borrowers, helping households manage cash flow, repayment schedules, and financial planning.
- Conduct on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment criteria, and documentation standards.
- Perform timely collection activities, including reminder calls, visitations, and negotiation of repayment terms while maintaining respectful and professional relationships.
- Maintain accurate field reports, update the central database with borrower information, and relay market insights to the regional office for strategic decision‑making.
- Collaborate with local community leaders, cooperatives, and partner organizations to build trust and expand Amartha’s presence in the region.
- Participate in regular training sessions, performance reviews, and team meetings to continuously improve service quality and personal competencies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA) / Vocational School (SMK) or equivalent.
- Age range: 18 – 30 years (maximum 33 years as per company policy).
- All genders are welcome; however, female candidates are given priority based on regional operational needs.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for daily field visits.
- Strong integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain financial concepts in simple terms.
- Resilience and the ability to work independently in challenging field conditions.
- Prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, community outreach, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory; fresh graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in basic digital tools (mobile apps, spreadsheets) for data collection and reporting.
