We are seeking a dynamic Business Partner – Staff Lapangan to join our team and act as the front‑line bridge between our loan programs and the local community. This position involves daily field work, client outreach, financial eligibility assessment, and post‑disbursement support. Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door visits, community events, and referral networking to expand Amartha’s loan portfolio.
  • Provide hands‑on economic coaching to households, helping them understand budgeting, repayment schedules, and strategies for sustainable growth.
  • Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s risk‑assessment framework, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of client interviews, financial data, and field observations for the underwriting team.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end collection process, including timely reminders, payment negotiations, and resolution of any repayment issues.
  • Collaborate with the regional operations supervisor to share market insights, flag emerging risks, and suggest product enhancements tailored to the local context.
  • Maintain accurate records of travel, client interactions, and performance metrics using Amartha’s mobile CRM tools.
  • Uphold the company’s code of ethics, demonstrating honesty, transparency, and respect in every client encounter.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for senior candidates).
  • All genders are welcome; female candidates are highly preferred to align with community outreach norms.
  • Possession of a personal motorbike or car to travel efficiently across the service area.
  • Strong integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to build trust with diverse household heads.
  • Basic digital literacy – comfortable using smartphones, data entry apps, and simple spreadsheet tools.
  • Willingness to work in the field every day, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
  • No prior experience required; fresh graduates or candidates with prior field sales or micro‑finance exposure are both considered.
  • Demonstrated resilience, problem‑solving ability, and a collaborative spirit.
