Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Cashier – Retail Store Operations to join our vibrant team at ICY Billiard, a premier destination for billiards, gaming, and family entertainment. This full‑time position is based in our main retail outlet and offers a dynamic work environment where excellent customer service and efficient cash handling are paramount. Candidates must be female, hold at least a high school diploma (SMA/SMK or equivalent), and be ready to commit to a Monday‑through‑Saturday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process all customer transactions using the POS (Point of Sale) system, including cash, credit, and electronic payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area, ensuring that merchandise displays are tidy and promotional signage is up‑to‑date.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to guests, answering product questions, and guiding them to appropriate sections of the store.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation, prepare end‑of‑day reports, and securely deposit cash according to company policy.
- Monitor inventory levels at the front of house, report low stock items, and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with the floor staff to manage peak‑hour traffic, minimize wait times, and uphold a smooth flow of customers.
- Handle customer complaints or returns with professionalism, escalating issues to the store manager when necessary.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new POS features, product knowledge, and safety protocols.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security guidelines, especially concerning cash handling and fraud prevention.
Requirements
- Gender: Female candidates are preferred.
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 30 years old (maximum age limit as per company policy).
- Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Skills: Familiarity with cashier systems, basic math proficiency, and strong attention to detail.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, courteous demeanor, ability to work under pressure, and strong teamwork orientation.
- Availability: Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
