Al Ittihadyah Junior High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (Civic Education Teacher) to join our vibrant teaching team. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for Civic Education (Kewarganegaraan) that align with the national curriculum and the school’s values.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including project‑based learning, debates, and community service activities, to foster critical thinking and active citizenship.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and practical projects, providing timely feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross‑disciplinary themes, especially linking civic concepts with language arts, history, and social studies.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and classroom activities in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and parent‑teacher conferences.
- Organize extracurricular activities such as student council elections, community outreach programs, and cultural events that reinforce civic responsibility.
- Continuously improve personal teaching competencies by attending seminars, pursuing further certifications, and practicing reflective teaching.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Age: Not older than 28 years.
- Marital status: Unmarried (as per the school’s current policy).
- Religion: Muslim (female candidates are especially encouraged to apply).
- Strong commitment to learning and improving English language proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate adolescents.
- Demonstrated passion for civic education and a solid understanding of Indonesia’s constitutional principles.
- Ability to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Basic proficiency in using digital teaching tools and classroom technology.
