Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs and line cooks in preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and ensuring timely service.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
- Follow standard operating procedures for food safety, hygiene, and temperature control to meet local health regulations.
- Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and perform basic inventory checks to prevent shortages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and odor‑free workstation by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Demonstrate initiative by identifying bottlenecks in the workflow and suggesting practical improvements.
- Collaborate closely with fellow crew members, communicating clearly to coordinate prep, cooking, and plating tasks.
- Adhere to the kitchen’s schedule, arriving promptly for each shift and completing assigned duties within the designated hours.
- Support special events, catering orders, and peak‑hour service periods by scaling up production while preserving quality.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new menu items, safety protocols, and equipment upgrades.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven kitchen experience, preferably in a high‑volume environment.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑moving setting.
- Excellent personal hygiene; candidates must present a clean and pleasant appearance.
- Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and a commitment to following company policies.
