Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily delivery routes, optimizing for traffic patterns, distance, and customer priority.
- Load, secure, and unload merchandise safely, paying close attention to weight limits and handling instructions.
- Prioritize local customers by delivering to neighborhoods within the city limits first, thereby supporting community relationships.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, electronic signatures, and proof‑of‑delivery documentation using company‑provided mobile applications.
- Conduct pre‑trip vehicle inspections, report any mechanical issues, and coordinate routine maintenance to keep the motorcycle in top condition.
- Provide courteous, professional communication with recipients, answering questions about delivery status and handling any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and dispatchers to resolve scheduling conflicts, address address discrepancies, and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on the road.
- Identify opportunities for route improvement and share feedback with the logistics manager to enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of professional delivery or transportation experience, preferably on a motorcycle.
- Valid driver’s license for the vehicle class used in the role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact politely with customers of diverse backgrounds.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing paperwork and digital logs accurately.
- Physical ability to lift and handle packages up to 25 kg and to perform repetitive loading/unloading tasks.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
