Introduction
SPX Express is seeking a dynamic Shift Lead for its Seteluk hub in Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat, NTB. This pivotal role oversees the end‑to‑end flow of goods, ensuring that inbound, outbound, sorting, and last‑mile delivery operations run smoothly and meet the company’s stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced logistics environment, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and be comfortable managing shift‑based work schedules.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the entire shipping and collection process, ensuring timely dispatch and accurate tracking of parcels.
- Supervise inbound and outbound activities, coordinating with third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to guarantee seamless hand‑offs.
- Oversee the sorting center operations, verifying that parcels are correctly categorized and routed for delivery.
- Lead a team of couriers and drivers, creating daily schedules that align with peak demand periods and SLA requirements.
- Analyze delivery zones and route allocations, optimizing paths to reduce fuel consumption and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain real‑time dashboards and generate performance reports that highlight key metrics such as on‑time delivery, order accuracy, and cost per mile.
- Conduct regular briefings and debriefings with the shift team to communicate priorities, safety protocols, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the warehousing department to ensure smooth transition of goods from storage to the dispatch area.
- Address and resolve any operational issues, escalations, or customer complaints that arise during the shift.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field, with a proven track record in team leadership.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes, including familiarity with 3PL coordination.
- Demonstrated analytical problem‑solving abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of motivating a diverse team of couriers and drivers.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, to meet operational demands.
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to Seteluk, Kab. Sumbawa Barat, NTB.
