Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Event Logistics Driver to join our corporate events team in Bandung. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all operational materials for corporate functions are delivered promptly, set up accurately, and managed with the highest level of professionalism. The ideal candidate is a disciplined driver with a solid knowledge of Bandung’s road network, a clean Class A driver’s license, and a commitment to supporting event teams during peak periods, including holidays.
Responsibilities
- Transport event‑related equipment, supplies, and décor items from the warehouse to venue locations across Bandung and surrounding areas.
- Assist the event coordination team in unloading, inventory checking, and staging of materials on‑site.
- Conduct pre‑trip vehicle inspections, ensure the vehicle is clean, fuel‑filled, and mechanically sound.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, sign‑offs, and incident reports for each assignment.
- Coordinate with venue staff to secure loading zones, comply with security protocols, and manage time‑sensitive deliveries.
- Provide on‑site support during set‑up and tear‑down, including moving heavy items safely using appropriate lifting techniques.
- Stay informed of traffic updates, road closures, and alternative routes to guarantee on‑time arrivals.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, traffic regulations, and corporate standards for conduct and appearance.
- Offer flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays such as Lebaran, to meet event timelines.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on customer service, safe driving, and event logistics best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates aged between 25 and 35 years.
- Valid and active Indonesian SIM A (motorcycle) license.
- Extensive familiarity with Bandung’s streets, shortcuts, and traffic patterns.
- Strong work ethic: diligent, honest, and highly responsible.
- Willingness to reside temporarily in the Setiabudi Atas mess facility when required.
- Ability to work on Saturdays and during major holidays, especially Lebaran.
- Basic communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English is a plus.
- Physical stamina to load and unload equipment, often weighing up to 25 kg.
- Proven reliability with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations.
