Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Cook Assistant – Kitchen Support Staff to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist senior cooks and chefs with ingredient preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as mixers, grills, ovens, and slicers safely and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and store food items according to proper rotation (FIFO) and food‑safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict sanitation protocols and conducting regular deep‑cleaning tasks.
- Support plating and garnishing of dishes during peak service periods to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in the preparation of sauces, marinades, and basic recipes under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
- Coordinate with front‑of‑house staff to manage order flow and address special dietary requests.
- Participate in daily briefings, reporting any equipment issues or supply shortages promptly.
- Adapt to changing menu items and seasonal ingredients, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- Work effectively under pressure during high‑volume service periods while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor’s degree) in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of practical experience in a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong communication skills; ability to follow instructions and convey information clearly.
- Honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Capacity to perform effectively under time constraints and high‑pressure situations.

- Availability: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
