Introduction

This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, maintaining compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, and providing insightful analysis that supports strategic decision‑making in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and post daily journal entries, ensuring completeness and accuracy across all business units.
- Execute month‑end and year‑end closing procedures, including balance‑sheet reconciliation, variance analysis, and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
- Manage the full spectrum of Indonesian tax compliance, including calculation, filing, and payment of PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, and PPh 4(2).
- Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits, providing required documentation and explanations of accounting treatments.
- Maintain and continuously improve the ERP/ accounting system, ensuring data integrity, proper chart‑of‑accounts structure, and efficient workflow automation.
- Produce regular management reports such as cash‑flow forecasts, profitability analyses per shipping lane, and cost‑center performance dashboards.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by gathering historical data, identifying trends, and presenting actionable insights to senior management.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and foreign currency exposures resulting from cross‑border freight operations.
- Implement internal control procedures to safeguard assets, prevent errors, and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
- Provide tax advisory support to operational teams, advising on the tax implications of new contracts, customs duties, and international trade agreements.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff on best practices, ERP usage, and tax regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting and tax functions, preferably within logistics, transportation, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle: journal entries, trial balance, financial statements, and closing processes.
- In‑depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, including PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, and PPh 4(2).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros) and ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or comparable platforms).
- Possession of Brevet A & B certification is highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in numerical work.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear business recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross‑functional teams, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
