Responsibilities
- Sort and group parcels according to delivery destination, area code, package type, and specific operational instructions to accelerate the distribution workflow.
- Verify label accuracy and package condition, checking addresses, barcodes, and completeness of information before items advance to the next processing stage.
- Arrange sorted items in the designated sorting or staging area, aligning them with the appropriate loading routes to streamline outbound shipments.
- Follow daily directives from the Warehouse Manager or Coordinator, meeting sorting targets, handling priority shipments, and adhering to established procedures.
- Collaborate closely with couriers, checkers, and warehouse administrators to maintain a smooth flow of goods and prevent errors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, handling parcels carefully to avoid damage or loss.
- Report any operational issues—such as damaged parcels, unreadable labels, or data mismatches—to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading activities when required, supporting peak‑time operations and special projects.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and quality‑control checks to uphold service standards.
- Continuously seek ways to improve sorting speed and accuracy, suggesting process enhancements to management.
Requirements
- Education: Open to all educational levels (high school diploma or higher preferred).
- Age: Maximum 35 years old.
- Gender: Male candidates only (as specified by the client’s operational policy).
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Key Skills: Basic logistics control, attention to detail, ability to read and interpret barcodes and shipping labels.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting parcels up to 20 kg, and performing repetitive motions.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance for the 02:00‑11:00 shift and willingness to work seven days a week.
- Communication: Clear verbal communication for reporting issues and coordinating with team members.
