Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Hub Lead – SPX Express to join our logistics network in Tirawuta, Kab. Kolaka Timur, Sulawesi Tenggara. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end‑to‑end flow of parcels and freight through our regional hub, ensuring that every shipment moves efficiently, safely, and on schedule. The position offers a challenging environment where you will collaborate with warehouse teams, line‑haul operators, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to maintain high service standards for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and guarantee timely delivery of goods from pick‑up to final customer receipt, addressing any delays proactively.
- Coordinate daily operations with the Warehouse, Line Haul, and 3PL teams to align schedules, capacities, and routing plans.
- Implement risk‑mitigation strategies to reduce lost or damaged parcels, including regular audits and real‑time exception handling.
- Track all hub transactions, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory reconciliation, and compliance with SOPs.
- Supervise inbound and outbound activities, optimizing dock utilization, loading sequences, and shipment prioritization.
- Lead, coach, and develop hub staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.
- Analyze performance metrics (on‑time delivery, pick‑rate, damage rate) and produce actionable reports for senior management.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local regulations, customs requirements, and industry best practices for first‑mile and last‑mile logistics.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to model workload forecasts, track KPI trends, and support decision‑making.
- Ensure that the hub adheres to health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting regular drills and inspections.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordination experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related sector.
- Hands‑on experience with both First Mile (collection) and Last Mile (delivery) operations.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes, including inventory control and route optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Problem‑solving mindset, capable of making quick decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to reside in Tirawuta, Kab. Kolaka Timur, and work Monday‑Friday, 09:30‑18:30.
