We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join Arya Villas Ubud as a Financial Accounting Intern. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Record and post journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and monitor cash flow.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, vendor payments, and customer billing.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering data from various departments.
- Help compile documentation for internal and external audits, maintaining organized filing systems.
- Analyze variances between budgeted and actual figures, providing preliminary explanations to senior accountants.
- Collaborate with the hospitality operations team to understand cost drivers and suggest efficiency improvements.
- Prepare ad‑hoc financial reports for management review, highlighting key performance indicators.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and adhere to ethical standards.
- Engage in continuous learning through mentorship, workshops, and on‑the‑job training.
Requirements
- Active student or fresh graduate from Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English is a distinct advantage.
- Professional appearance and a commitment to presenting a polished image.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of discipline, responsibility, and self‑initiative.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and software (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
