Introduction
We are seeking a diligent General Accountant with proven experience in managing comprehensive financial statements and tax obligations. This role is integral to our Finance, Accounting, and Tax team, ensuring that all monetary activities are executed accurately, comply with prevailing regulations, and support strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate holds a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and brings at least one year of hands‑on experience in a corporate finance environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) where applicable.
- Coordinate the closing process, ensuring all journal entries are posted timely, reconciliations are completed, and variance analyses are documented.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles, monitor cash flow, and assist in treasury activities such as bank reconciliations and cash forecasting.
- Handle corporate tax filings, including PPN (VAT), PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, and PPh 29, while staying up‑to‑date with changes in tax legislation.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, or comparable ERP systems) and advanced Excel functions to automate routine tasks, generate management reports, and support audit readiness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders—procurement, sales, and operations—to resolve accounting issues, improve internal controls, and enhance financial transparency.
- Support external auditors during year‑end audits by providing schedules, explanations, and supporting documentation.
- Continuously monitor compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and corporate governance standards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, propose automation solutions, and participate in the implementation of best‑practice accounting procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or tax functions within a medium to large organization.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory tax regulations (PPN, PPh 21/23/25/29).
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Accurate, SAP, or similar ERP platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with cross‑functional teams and external parties.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
