Introduction
PT Ekatunggal Tunas Mandiri, a leading player in Indonesia’s manufacturing and distribution sector, is seeking a dynamic Kepala Accounting & Finance (Head of Accounting & Finance) to lead its finance function. The successful candidate will act as the strategic cornerstone for financial reporting, accounting control, compliance, and internal controls, ensuring that the organization’s financial health aligns with both local regulatory standards and the company’s long‑term growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end‑to‑end accounting cycle, overseeing journal entry preparation, ledger maintenance, and month‑end closing activities.
- Prepare, review, and present monthly and annual financial statements—including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements—to senior management and external stakeholders.
- Supervise the general ledger, ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Guarantee strict compliance with PSAK (Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards), tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve internal control frameworks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mitigate financial risk.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, variance reporting, and budgeting forecasts to support strategic decision‑making.
- Collaborate closely with tax, audit, procurement, and operational teams to streamline cross‑functional processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and leadership.
- Participate in special projects, such as system upgrades, mergers & acquisitions, and cost‑reduction initiatives, providing financial insight and oversight.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting or Finance; a Master’s degree (S2) is highly desirable.
- Experience: At least 3 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with proven supervisory or coordinator experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, audit processes, and tax compliance; advanced user of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas) and ERP/accounting software.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of PSAK, Indonesian tax law, and other relevant financial regulations.
- Soft Skills: Detail‑oriented, analytical thinker, excellent communicator, and leadership‑oriented with the ability to influence and drive results across departments.
- Age limit: maximum 35 years.
