Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Japanese Language Tutor to join our dynamic team in Jember, East Java. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students, both online and offline.
- Prepare instructional materials, including worksheets, multimedia presentations, and interactive activities that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, oral examinations, and written assignments, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters cultural exchange.
- Utilize digital teaching platforms and tools to conduct virtual lessons, record sessions, and track attendance.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to develop joint projects, language clubs, and cultural events such as Japanese calligraphy or tea‑ceremony workshops.
- Stay current with the latest pedagogical approaches and incorporate authentic Japanese media (news, podcasts, films) into lessons.
- Provide individualized tutoring or remedial support for students who need extra assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student attendance, and performance reports in accordance with institute policies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Japanese Language, Education, or a related field.
- Gender: Female candidates preferred; however, all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Fluent in Japanese with strong oral and written communication skills; proficiency certifications (e.g., JLPT N2 or higher) are a plus.
- Prior experience teaching Japanese, either in a classroom or private tutoring setting, is highly desirable.
- Having lived, studied, or worked in a Japanese‑speaking country will be considered an advantage.

- Commitment to a work schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with flexibility for online sessions.
