Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Anggota Tim Operasional Kebun Hidroponik to join our fast‑growing hydroponic farm located in the heart of Indonesia’s agricultural hub. This role is perfect for a young professional who is passionate about sustainable food production, enjoys hands‑on work, and is eager to develop expertise in cutting‑edge cultivation techniques. The successful candidate will split time between the greenhouse and our retail hydroponic store, ensuring that both production and customer experience run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage nutrient solutions, ensuring optimal pH and EC levels for a variety of leafy greens and herbs.
- Monitor plant health daily, identify pests or disease symptoms early, and implement integrated pest‑management strategies.
- Execute planting schedules, transplant seedlings, and maintain proper spacing to maximize yield.
- Maintain a clean and organized greenhouse environment, including sanitation of trays, channels, and tools.
- Track inventory of seeds, substrates, nutrients, and consumables using Microsoft Excel and update the central database.
- Compile daily and weekly production reports for the supervisor, highlighting growth rates, harvest quantities, and any issues encountered.
- Assist customers in the on‑site hydroponic store, providing product knowledge, troubleshooting growing problems, and recommending appropriate supplies.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule harvests, packaging, and delivery to wholesale partners.
- Participate in continuous improvement meetings, offering ideas to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve crop quality.
- Adhere to company safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment, and maintain a workplace that respects the five daily prayers (Shalat).
Requirements
- Minimum education: S1 (Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field preferred); SMA acceptable with relevant experience.
- Male candidates only, in accordance with company policy.
- Age not exceeding 27 years.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in hydroponic or conventional farming.
- Strong knowledge of agronomy, plant nutrition, and pest management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data logging and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
- Ability to work both in the greenhouse (one day) and in the retail store (next day) on a rotating schedule.
- Demonstrated time‑management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to perform the five daily prayers (Shalat) as part of the workplace culture.
