Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute a wide variety of dim sum items—including dumplings, bao, shumai, and spring rolls—ensuring consistency, flavor, and visual appeal.
- Develop and refine recipes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques while maintaining the traditional standards of the cuisine.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative atmosphere and promoting best practices in food safety and sanitation.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, conduct daily stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee the freshness of produce and seafood.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to HACCP guidelines and local health regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and cost analysis, helping to balance profitability with quality.
- Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and plating standards to meet service deadlines during peak hours.
- Participate in periodic tasting panels and customer feedback sessions to continuously improve the dim sum offerings.
- Handle special dietary requests (e.g., vegetarian, gluten‑free) by adapting recipes without compromising taste.
- Collaborate with front‑of‑house managers to ensure smooth service flow and prompt resolution of any guest concerns.
Requirements
- Female candidate, as specified by the hiring policy.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in dim sum preparation or a related culinary field; senior‑level expertise preferred.
- Polished personal appearance and professional demeanor.
- Excellent physical stamina and overall health, enabling long hours on foot in a hot kitchen environment.
- Honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic with a track record of responsibility.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, demonstrating quick decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.

- Full‑time availability, with work hours from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Saturday.
