Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounting Staff to join our finance team in Kebumen. This pivotal role focuses on the preparation, analysis, and management of our financial reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight for senior management. As a cornerstone of our accounting department, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams, support audit processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that drive the financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian Financial Reporting Standards (PSAK) and international best practices.
- Lead the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Oversee the accurate recording of all financial transactions, ensuring proper classification and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal auditors and external audit firms to facilitate smooth audit cycles and address any findings promptly.
- Develop and maintain strategic accounting policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures to safeguard assets.
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing training on accounting software, reporting techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data to produce management reports, budget forecasts, and cash‑flow projections that support decision‑making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, payroll obligations, and statutory reporting deadlines.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to resolve accounting issues and improve process efficiency.
- Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) to automate routine tasks and improve data integrity.
Requirements
- Indonesian citizenship, age not exceeding 35 years.
- Local residence preferred; candidates domiciled in Kebumen will be prioritized.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma or degree in accounting is advantageous.
- STR Accreditation or STR in process.
- Proficient computer skills, with strong command of accounting software and advanced Excel functions.
- At least 0‑2 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates with a strong strategic mindset are welcome.
- Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Team‑oriented attitude, capable of working independently under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving regulations and industry standards.
