Responsibilities
- Receive inbound parcels from inbound trucks, verify the shipment manifest, and log each item into the warehouse management system.
- Perform barcode scanning, labeling, and documentation to guarantee traceability throughout the sorting process.
- Sort parcels by destination zone, service level (e.g., express, regular), and size, using conveyor belts, manual sorting tables, and automated sorting equipment.
- Load sorted batches onto outbound delivery vans or regional trucks, ensuring optimal space utilization and secure placement.
- Conduct routine checks for damaged or incorrectly labeled packages and report discrepancies to the shift supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following J&T Express safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate closely with fellow sorters, supervisors, and dispatch personnel to meet daily throughput targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in inventory audits, cycle counts, and periodic stock reconciliations as required.
- Participate in daily briefings and training sessions to stay updated on new processes, technology upgrades, and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA) / Vocational School (SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates only; age not exceeding 30 years.
- Zero to minimal prior work experience; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- High loyalty and willingness to commit to the company’s operational standards.
- Good physical health (both body and mind) capable of standing, walking, and lifting packages up to 20 kg for extended periods.
- Excellent adaptability and quick learning ability, especially when dealing with new sorting technologies or workflow changes.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with supervisors and teammates.
- Availability to work every day of the week, Monday through Sunday, from 08:00 to 16:00.
