Introduction
PT AWI Gadai Jogja, a leading private pawnshop company regulated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), is seeking a motivated and physically capable individual to join our team as a Koordinator Bagian Umum dan Administrasi. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our office facilities across Yogyakarta. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance of buildings, handling minor repairs, and supporting general administrative tasks that keep our 21 branch network running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building structures, electrical systems, plumbing, and basic carpentry.
- Inspect facilities daily to identify safety hazards, wear‑and‑tear, or equipment malfunctions, and promptly address them.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs while ensuring cost‑effectiveness.
- Maintain a detailed daily log of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and time spent.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Support office administration by managing inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling meeting rooms, events, and training sessions as required.
- Provide on‑site support for emergency situations such as power outages, water leaks, or security breaches.
- Collaborate with department heads to prioritize facility projects that align with business objectives.
- Undertake additional tasks delegated by supervisors, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Maximum age of 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Good physical condition; ability to lift moderate loads and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
- Basic knowledge of light electrical work, plumbing, and general maintenance techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, quick decision‑making, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to work independently in a mobile, high‑tempo environment.
- Valid driver’s licenses (SIM A & C) are considered an advantage.
- Willingness to be stationed in Yogyakarta and travel between branch locations as needed.
- Soft skills: effective communication, teamwork, problem‑solving orientation, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
