Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Manajer Operasional Palung (Sedati) to join our team at the bustling Bandara Juanda and Tegalsari locations. This role is essential for maintaining seamless airport operations, ensuring passenger satisfaction, and supporting the overall efficiency of our ground‑handling services. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of relevant experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to grow within a fast‑paced aviation environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily ground‑handling activities, including aircraft parking, passenger boarding, and baggage handling, to guarantee on‑time departures and arrivals.
- Supervise a mixed team of ground staff, ensuring clear communication, proper task allocation, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with airport regulations, airline standards, and internal operating procedures.
- Develop and implement operational schedules that align with flight timetables, peak traffic periods, and staffing availability.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, vehicles, and work areas to identify hazards and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of operational performance, incident reports, and resource utilization for management review.
- Act as the primary point of contact for airline representatives, addressing any operational concerns promptly and professionally.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by gathering feedback from staff and stakeholders, and recommending process enhancements.
- Provide on‑the‑job training and mentorship to new hires, fostering a culture of learning, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Prepare shift handover reports and ensure seamless transition between day and night operations.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Candidates of any age are welcome, provided they meet the experience criteria.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in airport ground operations, hospitality, or a related service‑oriented field.
- Key Skills:
- Strong interpersonal abilities – honest, friendly (supel), and detail‑oriented.
- Fast learner with a hard‑working attitude and a high sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Customer service competence, especially in food and beverage handling.
- Willingness to be stationed at Bandara Juanda and Tegalsari.
- Availability: Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
